The EU Compliance Baseline
- REACH (Annex XVII): restricted heavy metals — lead ≤ 500 mg/kg, cadmium ≤ 100 mg/kg in accessible parts
- Nickel release: wear-surface limits per EN 1811 (methodology EN 12472)
- GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation): the EU responsible person role stays with the brand / importer; WCJ provides technical documentation support (retained 10 years) + traceability labeling assistance on request
